The new face of the 2021 Nissan Kicks may wind up on the Canadian model, too
It’s better looking than before, and we want it here—now
The Nissan Kicks booted the Juke out of Canada back in 2017, and since then has been one of the brand’s most popular vehicles in the nation, even if it isn’t the best looking.
Now, for 2021, the entry-level SUV has been given a new look that’ll (probably hopefully) make its way to Canada.
The 2021 Nissan Kicks global model that’s already passing by tuk tuks in Thailand underwent a mid-cycle refresh that gives it a welcome visual update. The 2021 Kicks gets a sportier bumper, a more prominent V-Motion grille (say ‘Cheese!’), narrower headlights, and tweaked taillights and rear-end design. There’s also an optional two-tone exterior colour scheme.
Inside, there’s a larger eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, a seven-inch central digital instrument cluster, and a redone steering wheel.
Car and Driver speculates the visual adjustments on the global model pictured here will look much the same if and when the new Kicks arrives in North America, but that that e-Power hybrid system by Nissan is not for us just yet. We figure that’s a pretty safe assumption.
Regardless of how it looks, the 2021 Kicks should arrive in Canada later this year or early next.
